Stop Arguing, Get Closer: Three Tools for a Happier Relationship

  • 19 left

Workshop, Jan 29th at 12:30pm GMT

Are you caught up in a cycle of conflict with your partner?

Discover the three myths about relationships which lie behind the arguments and keep us apart.

And find out about three simple steps you can take to break out of a cycle of conflict and get much closer to your partner.

Is this workshop right for me?

Before you sign up you probably want to know if it's a good fit for you.

It's going to be right for you if you:

  • are caught up in a cycle of fights or arguments with your partner

  • you feel stuck and don't know what to do next

  • you've tried all sorts of approaches and they aren't working

  • there's a lot of "you did that and it's all your fault" in your relationship

And you're ready to take responsibility and try something radically different.

There are a few ideas we all hold dear, and which constantly let us down!  For instance:
  • Communication is always the answer to marital strife
  • Expressing our feelings no matter how harsh they are is sacrosanct
  • Arguments are a normal part of marriage; and a regular good blow-out is essential
You'll learn why these ideas are causing problems in your relationship.

And I will talk you through some of the little-known keys to the renewal of your relationship, which may come as a surprise to you.

Stop Arguing, Get Closer: Three Tools for a Happier Relationship

Workshop, Jan 29th at 12:30pm GMT

In this workshop I'll introduce you to three myths about relationships which lie behind the arguments.

There will also be a chance to learn three simple (but not-so-obvious) steps you can take to break out of a cycle of conflict and get much closer to your partner.

You'll leave with a clear set of next steps that you can take and the knowledge that things can change.

What you'll get in the workshop

We'll start with the three myths, and why they trip us up and make things worse. And you'll find out what to do about them.

I'll tell you about the three things you can start doing the very same day so that change happens sooner rather than later.

Then I'll explain to you how I work with clients so that you see how things can be done differently.

I'll make you an extra-special offer which is available to you as a thank you for taking the time to show up for the workshop.

We'll finish with a Q&A session, where I will answer as many questions as I can! Make sure to bring some questions with you.

What you will leave with

You'll leave the workshop with some new ways of seeing your relationship and some techniques you can implement straightaway.

How will your relationship change?

The end result of all this might be more connection and love; or it might be greater clarity about your needs and desires and what you want to do next.

Either way you're a winner.

Success Stories

Vicky Stead

"I decided to reach out and ask for help, after I found myself experiencing what some people would call ‘burnout’ or ‘depression’.

"I feel thankful that I was able to experience coaching with Sorrel during this time. I felt really isolated; talking to friends and family is ok, but what coaching brings is listening with no agenda.

"When you stop excessively thinking, 'this is a problem there's something wrong with me', or the thought loop simply slows down, it creates a space for more calm, more love.

"Who wouldn't want more of that?"

Gillian Christison

"Congratulations that was a very impactful webinar. You did great!

"I had never shared that story before except with my Dad probably sometime in the last 5 years.

"Today being listened to in the group really shifted something. I felt the energy moving really intensely through my body, tears flowing and the insight was 'I don't have to punish myself anymore.'

"Thank you and I feel proud to know you."

Frequently asked questions

Is the workshop suitable for me if I am not currently in a relationship?

If you are currently single, and you have found it difficult to create lasting relationships in the past, it certainly is. Especially if you want to start a new relationship sometime in the future!

Is this workshop suitable for men as well as women?

There's no reason why men shouldn't learn about these myths. So yes, it's open to everyone.

Do I need to do any preparation beforehand?

There's no need to do any preparation, except to print out the worksheet I will be sending you.
However you may find it helpful to write down in advance any patterns of conflict you have noticed in your relationship. And obviously if you have a question write that down so you don't forget it!

Will there be a recording if I can't come on the day?

There will be a recording which will be available on my website for at least a couple of weeks!

Your host: Sorrel Pindar

Hello I'm Sorrel Pindar, and I am a veteran of four 'failed' relationships, finishing with my marriage of 20 something years which ended in divorce in 2017. But now I wouldn't say they were failures, because I learned so much from each relationship.

My current (the fifth) relationship with my partner, Mark, is a triumph by comparison. We have both learned so much - about what works and what doesn't. And really it's pretty simple, although it can require a degree of presence which can be hard work sometimes.

I have helped 100s of people over the last 25 years, many of whom have found that their relationship benefited because of the work they did on themselves (even when they were coming to me for osteopathic treatment).

I coach from a spiritual foundation which connects both me and my clients into what they have going for them, rather than just focusing on what's wrong. And this yields profound change and transformation compared to a problem-focused approach.
