In my last two or three years in practice as an osteopath, I made sure that all of my ME/CFS patients had some coaching sessions, alongside their Perrin Technique treatments.

Coaching is a chance to deal with blocks to recovery. It's not about dealing with the past, but about enabling you to move forward (so quite different from counselling).

Each person has a different picture, but there are some common themes. I've talked about some of them already - the guilt about not doing as much as before you got ill, feeling lazy, not feeling that you're worth taking care of, FOMO (fear of missing out). The list goes on!

In the coaching sessions, you can start to explore where these thinking patterns come from, and realise that they are just thoughts and not the Truth. But perhaps more importantly you can start to connect with your own innate healing power.

The power of coaching lies in its ability to create a safe and peaceful space where the client can start to get insights and realisations which lead to letting go of unhelpful thinking. This can then unleash your own inner resources which will be the engine of your recovery.

Burnout Breakthrough is a package of six one hour coaching sessions, which you take on a fortnightly basis. If you would like to find out more, you can book a free discovery call.
