Moving from Complaint to Request
In a relationship, asking for things can feel really vulnerable as we may be afraid of rejection or hearing a ‘No.’ So we tend to complain – or nag – instead, which rarely gets us what we want and pushes us apart.
In the long run asking for things by means of a request is more relational and more likely to get you what you want.
