Relationship & couples coaching

It's very easy to lose perspective when we are caught up in a car-crash of a relationship. And it's all too easy to step into Victim mode and blame the other party. 

There are a few keys to better relationships, including compassion for our other half, the ability to love ourself and an understanding of what we are doing or not doing which is getting in the way. It can take courage to face up to things we don't like in ourselves. But it will be worth it, because in the end, love and understanding in our relationships is the foundation for everything we want in life. 

Coaching for Resilience

Being able to connect with your true self, or inner pilot light, is the key to your resilience. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety or overwhelm, coaching will help you uncover the resources you need to cope effectively and transform the stress into an opportunity for growth.

A typical programme is 12 weeks of coaching which may include a one-day intensive.

Bereavement coaching

When we lose someone or something important to us, the grieving process can be quite a rollercoaster. Other people may assume that they know what we are experiencing and may offer advice which feels inappropriate. Others simply don't know what to say and avoid asking questions or offering support.

I see my role as being rather like a bereavement doula, walking the path with you, lighting the way, and guiding you so that you don't fall from the precipice.

The Power Switch

Coaching for Rapid Transformation

The Power Switch is a two-day 1-to-1 coaching intensive.

No matter what problems you bring to coaching, you will benefit from an intensive. This is where we meet for two days (or possibly four half-days, so that you have time to process in between).

The intensive will help you make rapid progress on whatever is holding you back. 

During the intensive, we'll focus on your grounding and innate well-being, connecting you with your true nature, so that you are able to let go of old patterns which are no longer serving you.  

  • A two-day intensive to give you a deep dive into whatever is keeping you stuck 

  • Three additional 75 minute coaching sessions so you can deepen your grounding, and explore your innate resilience  

  • Accountability so that you make the changes you need to become "unstuck" and move forward in your  journey

Frequently asked questions

How often do we meet for coaching?

Initially I recommend meeting weekly if possible, or fortnightly if you can't manage weekly sessions.

If I come for 1-to-1 coaching, can my partner join us later on?

If your partner wants to join us part way through your programme and you are happy with the arrangement, then yes absolutely.

What modality do you use for working with couples?

I am trained in relational life therapy and I combine it with the 3 Principles understanding.

Sorrel Pindar

I am a trauma-informed, relationship & well-being coach. I work with people who have hit a road-block in their relationships, many of whom also struggle with stress, anxiety and depression.

I have 18 years experience of working with people with mental health problems including PTSD & C-PTSD. As a boarding school survivor, I have a particular interest in people who themselves attended boarding school.

Apart from the childhood trauma of boarding school, my experience includes a bereavement by suicide when I was 20. I am the survivor of three challenging relationships, in which I endured emotional abuse. I'm now in a healthy and very loving relationship with my current partner.

I am certified as a Relational Life Coach with the Relational Life Institute so that I can work with couples as well as one-to-one clients.

As a Certified Advanced CLARITY® Coach & Facilitator, I take a spiritual approach to coaching. I'm also a licensed One of Many™ women's coach, so I can bring a more female approach to coaching.

I have a BSc and an MPhil in Psychology, but in the last seven years I've realised that there is much to be gained by taking account of our spiritual nature - or what many of us call 'true nature.' This is the source of the creativity & compassion which enables us to heal from the inside-out.
