My own bereavements have taught me that while grief is a very personal experience, there is always a role for support from someone who makes no assumptions and is willing to listen non-judgementally. I see my role as a coach as being rather like a bereavement doula, walking the path with you, lighting the way, and guiding you so that you don't fall from the precipice.
My own experience includes the loss of my belioved grandmother when I was six years old, being sent to boarding school at the age of 20, bereavement by suicide, the loss of my parents and the end of my marriage. I am therefore particularly well-placed to coach you if you have experienced any of these losses.
In November 2021 to mark the 44th anniversary of the death by suicide of my first boyfriend, I set up the
Suicide Survivors Hub. The idea behind the Hub is to provide support to anyone bereaved by suicide.
If you are suffering from a grief that simply isn't resolving or if it is a more recent bereavement and you would like some support as you walk the path, please do get in touch. You can book a
discovery call so that you can tell me your story and we can start to explore whether coaching is the right choice for you at the moment. Or visit the
Hub page for details of other services.
