An hour with Sorrel to get clear on what you can do to repair and renew your relationship
How would it be to know that your relationship was healthy and able to sustain you through the hardest times?
So many of us find ourselves caught up in repeating patterns which get in the way of closeness and intimacy. It is hard to be intimate with someone when you are constantly fighting. Or if one of you is sullen and withdrawn.
You may feel that you are always under fire. Or maybe you experience a lot of guilt about letting your partner down. There may be competition or a sense that you are not getting any recognition.
Or perhaps it's just become boring; all dirty dishes, TV and a weekly trip to the pub.
Whatever the situation may be, if you are unhappy with your relationship, it is possible to find a way forward. Your next step is to book yourself a Relationship Renewal Clarity Call.
On the call, I will help you get clarity about what exactly it is you want. And then to explore what's stopping the two of you from getting it. Once you have that clarity, your next steps will be clearer, and you'll leave the call with a plan to take you forward.
I used to think that there must be some kind of science to relationships. I tried everything I could think of during 40 years of relationships including a 23 year marriage. But it was only in my latest relationship (since I turned 60) that I realised that there is more art than science to relationships.
What I had learned about human psychology in eight years of study did not serve me nearly as well what I learned from the mistakes I made in those first four relationships. And therefore what we all need to not do as well as what we need to start doing.
What I have learned about the art of relationships with my current partner, and what I am learning as I study the art of relationships, is what I have shared with clients and friends and what I am offering you here.
The only person you can change is yourself, and in this deep dive call, we will find out what is going on for you, what you think might be going on for your partner, what patterns are playing out in your relationship and what you can do to change them.
Hi, I'm Sorrel. I'm a trauma-informed relationship coach, working with people who have hit a road-block in their relationships.
I am certified as a Relational Life Coach with the Relational Life Institute so that I can work with couples as well as coaching 1-to-1.
I started in practice as an osteopath in 2002 and retired from osteopathy 20 years later. After qualifying as an NLP Master Practitioner in 2017, I started coach training and qualified as a Certified Advanced CLARITY® Coach & Facilitator. I am also a licensed One of Many™ women's coach, bringing a more female approach to coaching.
I have a BSc and an MPhil in Psychology, and in recent years I've realised that there is much to be gained by taking account of our spiritual nature - or what many of us call 'true nature.' This is the source of the creativity & compassion which enable us to heal from the inside-out, leading to better mental health and more resilient relationships.
